Buy This, Not That

Buying makeup from Sephora can be pricey at times. Why spend the extra money on expensive brands when you can find a cheaper substitute with just as good, if not better, quality. Well, I have taken a few of my favorite makeup products and found their affordable substitutes!

Now, I would just like to state that these are all of my own opinions, on what works best for me. I know opinions will vary, and that’s okay! I’m just sharing what I think are better substitutes for expensive makeup that I’ve used and these are solely recommendations. Hope you enjoy!

NYX Epic Ink Liner         vs.           Kat Von D Tattoo Liner

I’m obsessed with NYX Epic Ink Liner! I cannot believe how inexpensive this product is, for how amazing it is! I tried Kat Von D’s liner when I first heard about it, then a girlfriend told me about NYX’s EPIC INK liner. I bought it that night and girl, I’m sold for life. This liner will last for months and applies incredibly every time. It will stay on ALL day. My absolute favorite liner and I highly recommend this for anyone who loves to do a winged liner.

Maybelline Facestudio Master Fix  vs. MAC PREP + PRIME FIX+

Both great products, but why spend more when the quality is the same? Maybelline Facestudio Master Fix gets the job done and does NOT break the bank.

Buy This, Not That:

Maybelline FitMe Foundation    vs.   NARS All Day Foundation

I’ve been using Maybelline FitMe Foundation Matte + Poreless for years now. This foundation gives you full coverage, is light on your face, and helps with oily skin. So, $50 vs. $4.39? Both products are equally great, but I recommend going with the affordable choice.

NYX Pore Filler    vs.    Benefit Cosmetics The POREfessional

I have pores on my chin, forehead, nose, cheeks…Needless to say, I need a good pore minimizer. I go for NYX’s Pore Filler every time! A friend bought me Benefit’s POREfessional Face Primer for my birthday a year back, same results as NYX … but completely different price. I would never pay $54 at Sephora, when I know I can head on over to Walmart and only spend $12.60. Save on this deal!
